Worksboard Manager

Job Purpose:

To manage & have ownership of the Worksboard (Logistics Scheduling) covering all divisions of the UK ensuring routes and skilled workforce are aligned.  Communicate with all stakeholders and departments to create efficiencies and maximise the revenue generation in accordance with our quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To take administrative responsibility for the Works Board checking that staff allocated are suitably qualified /authorised and that route planning has been fully considered to be time and cost effective whilst maintaining a duty of care.
  • Administration of personnel and other resources to fulfil contractual obligations and cover all projects in the most efficient manner under the direction of the Operations Manager. Plan in advance to take into account annual leave, training and quality requirements and ensure the Operations Manager is aware.
  • Assist in the provision of management information on departmental performance. Present that information clearly, to assist in achieving business objectives.
  • To provide support in mathematical and statistical calculations required in the Operations, Commercial departments and other departments upon request.

Key Skills:

  • Strong administrative skills including MS Office, outlook and access
  • Good organisational skills and an understanding of route planning
  • A clear capability in maths, statistics and calculations
  • Excellent customer service ability, including telephone, verbal and personal communication skills with internal and external clients

Health, Safety & Fire Advisor

Job Description

To be able to provide competent HSEQ and Fire assessment support to both the internal and external elements of the business. This will mainly involve undertaking desktop reviews of relevant HSEQ and fire documentation (e.g. Existing risk assessment reports, COSHH assessments) as well as carrying out client site visits to ensure our clients are legally compliant. This role will predominantly be serving a variety of clients across the country.

Essential Qualifications:
•NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
•NEBOSH Fire Risk Assessment, FPA C05 fire risk assessment course or equivalent
•Fire Risk Assessors and Auditors qualification be recognised by a professional institution, such as FPA, IFE

Essential Experience:
•2 - 3 years Health and safety support experience
•2 - 3 years Fire risk assessment experience

Technical Trainer

Job Purpose:

To deliver office and site based internal training for all technical aspects.  Production of training documentation and review of personnel development plans in conjunction with the Head of Training and Development.  To deliver external technical courses, by both external recognised bodies and ad hoc as necessary

Key Responsibilities:

To undertake site based training assessments, initially within the asbestos sector, on Technical personnel in association with technical authorisation, reported anomalies and technical investigation as instructed by the Quality and Training Departments.  To ensure that assessments are completed in the agreed format and the results notified to the Quality or Training Department.  Ensure that any serious issues are reported to the appropriate personnel and action is undertaken in a timely fashion.  Make appropriate recommendation to the relevant Department following assessments which would require further action to include authorisation audits or withdrawal from site projects. Review personal development plans and relevant audit schedules and ensure that these are adhered to and training / organised in a timely fashion leading to new authorisations.  Assist the Quality Department in technical and complaint-based investigations.  Undertake internal refresher training as instructed by the Training Department both internally and externally.  Participate in annual and quarterly review meetings as required by the Quality Department.  Assist in developing and undertaking external training courses to clients.  Assist in the marketing and development of the Training Department.

Competitive Salary dependent on experience

Job Type: Full Time - 40hrs per week

Asbestos Accounts Manager

The role of the Account Manager is to develop and create long-term relationships with our clients. You will be required to understand customer demands, plan how to meet these demands and generate sales for the company as a result. KPI’s will play an important role within your day to day activity as you will be required to ensure the company delivers services effectively, profitably and in full accordance with Ensafe Consultants quality systems though effective communication and reporting. Responsible for the ‘cradle to grave’ delivery to our clients you will be given sales targets and budgets and be expected to grow the accounts and maximise opportunities.


  • Operate as the main point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted, long-term relationships with your customers.
  • To line manage the Project coordinators to ensure work planning is effective and efficient.
  • Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts to ensure the company reaches its sales targets.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts by ‘up-selling’ and ‘cross-selling’ and generating new business.
  • Implement business plans and sales strategies and work with the Marketing Department to assist with generating new business.
  • Manage and solve conflicts and escalations with clients whilst maintaining a good relationship and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Quality Department to ensure any complaints or anomalies are dealt with to the client’s satisfaction and take the lead role in any form of investigation.
  • Undertake site visits and audits to monitor performance in conjunction with the Quality Department.
  • Attending meetings, deliver presentations and facilitate training to meet the customer’s needs.
  • Ensure all pre planning and pre contract reviews are undertaken correctly and communicate with the site staff to ensure they are aware of the client’s requirements and objectives.
  • Communicate targets and KPI’s in the form of monthly reports.
  • Undertake sales forecasts and track profitability on accounts.

Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant

Job Description

The purpose of the job is to carry out asbestos surveys ensuring the company delivers services effectively, profitably and in full accordance with Ensafe Consultants policies, procedures and quality systems.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Delivering all aspects of operational site requirements in surveying, resurveying, re inspections and assisting on surveys whilst training. Assisting with the mentoring and coaching of less experienced site staff including technical training when experienced. Providing on site client liaison, communicating with other Ensafe team members, problem solving on site and ensuring the jobs are finished to the clients satisfaction in accordance with Ensafe proposals, quality, policy and cost requirements. Completing all paperwork correctly and in a timely manner and completing all QC requirements, report signing and training records in the same timely manner.

Asbestos Analyst / Project Manager

Your Role:

  • Carry out air monitoring, analysis and basis project management of remedial and removal works ensuring the company delivers services effectively, profitably and in full accordance with Ensafe Consultants policies, procedures and quality systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • ·Deliver the analytical aspects of operational site requirements on the client account, contract or client site that you are responsible for
  • · Assist with the mentoring/coaching of less experienced site staff

Your Key Duties:

  • Comply with all quality and technical procedures whilst undertaking the analytical elements of PM works. You will also be expected to coach, train and on site manage less experienced staff if required
  • Carry out sampling of airborne dust for the determination of levels of respirable fibres (Air monitoring) in accordance with current health and safety executive guidance HSG248, ‘Analysts Guide’.
  • Assist as required with the four stages of site reoccupation following removal or remedial work on asbestos containing materials and to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with current health and safety executive guidance HSG248, ‘Analysts Guide’.

Asbestos Laboratory - Bulk Analyst

Job Purpose: The primary function is to ensure that all bulks are analysed to meet agreed KPI's and SLAs, with all record keeping associated with this function ensuring the company delivers services effectively profitably and in full accordance with Ensafe Consultants policies, procedures and quality systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analysis of bulks with all record keeping associated with this function and in full compliance with quality control requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining validation, testing and calibration schedules for the laboratory tests and key pieces of equipment.
  • To support the administrative function of the Laboratory under the supervision of the Project & Compliance Manager ensuring all records are maintained and updated as required. This will include, spread sheets, word documents, certificates and purchase orders as required.
  • Communication with consultants, operations and reporting to ensure delivery of service to clients.

Requires BOHS P401 Qualification

Salary: £18,000.00 - £20,000 per annum, dependent on experience
