Asbestos Report Writer

Job Purpose:

To create formal reports based on site asbestos surveys and projects to include sample analysis results using in-house systems and data transference.

Key Responsibilities

•To create Survey /Project management reports using the internal databases information taken from Asbestos Surveys and site works based on the findings from the site visit and laboratory within the required SLA’s.

•Liaise with Consultants and Project Managers on a regular basis.

•Create certificates and associated documents which may be required for the completion of the report.

•To create CAD site plans which outline layout and asbestos sampling points to accompany the survey report.

•Check & merge and paginate reports in preparation for despatch to the client.

•Liaise with the laboratory and surveyors to gain advice, results and technical clarification if required during the creation of the report. Make note of any inconsistencies and query before producing reports.

Salary £17,000 rising to £18,000

Job Type: Full Time - 40hrs per week

Annual Leave: 28 days (including Bank Holiday) + Birthday, increasing with length of service.

Technical Trainer

Job Purpose:

To deliver office and site based internal training for all technical aspects.  Production of training documentation and review of personnel development plans in conjunction with the Head of Training and Development.  To deliver external technical courses, by both external recognised bodies and ad hoc as necessary

Key Responsibilities:

To undertake site based training assessments, initially within the asbestos sector, on Technical personnel in association with technical authorisation, reported anomalies and technical investigation as instructed by the Quality and Training Departments.  To ensure that assessments are completed in the agreed format and the results notified to the Quality or Training Department.  Ensure that any serious issues are reported to the appropriate personnel and action is undertaken in a timely fashion.  Make appropriate recommendation to the relevant Department following assessments which would require further action to include authorisation audits or withdrawal from site projects. Review personal development plans and relevant audit schedules and ensure that these are adhered to and training / organised in a timely fashion leading to new authorisations.  Assist the Quality Department in technical and complaint-based investigations.  Undertake internal refresher training as instructed by the Training Department both internally and externally.  Participate in annual and quarterly review meetings as required by the Quality Department.  Assist in developing and undertaking external training courses to clients.  Assist in the marketing and development of the Training Department.

Marketing & Sales Co-Ordinator

Job Purpose:

To provide high quality support and assistance to the marketing and sales function of Ensafe Consultants. Assisting in securing new areas for business development and sales and assisting the Commercial Director as required.  This role involves self-managing, decision making and providing advice and budgeted solutions on marketing plans and strategies that can be presented to the board. The purpose of the role is to increase brand awareness, sales and ultimately profitability by the effective use of marketing and  related sales strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:    

Lead marketing and PR activities within the business and ensure associated action plans are constructed and shared with the senior management team. Providing support to the Commercial Director in all aspects of the business and client development. Improving internal company efficiency and communication to boost business development.  Attend industry events and promote the corporate image of Ensafe Consultants, ensure all appropriate networking opportunities are taken advantage of. Update and improve Company websites and promotional material, to include design , copy writing and image sourcing . Search engine optimisation. Establish and develop online marketing activity focussing on using social media tools and paid or free advertising. Design and distribution of Ensafe newsletter, co-ordinate articles submitted by other team members.

Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant

Job Description

The purpose of the job is to carry out asbestos surveys ensuring the company delivers services effectively, profitably and in full accordance with Ensafe Consultants policies, procedures and quality systems.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Delivering all aspects of operational site requirements in surveying, resurveying, re inspections and assisting on surveys whilst training. Assisting with the mentoring and coaching of less experienced site staff including technical training when experienced. Providing on site client liaison, communicating with other Ensafe team members, problem solving on site and ensuring the jobs are finished to the clients satisfaction in accordance with Ensafe proposals, quality, policy and cost requirements. Completing all paperwork correctly and in a timely manner and completing all QC requirements, report signing and training records in the same timely manner.

Asbestos Removal Analyst

Your Role:

  • Carry out air monitoring, analysis and basis project management of remedial and removal works ensuring the company delivers services effectively, profitably and in full accordance with Ensafe Consultants policies, procedures and quality systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • ·Deliver the analytical aspects of operational site requirements on the client account, contract or client site that you are responsible for
  • · Assist with the mentoring/coaching of less experienced site staff
  • · Provide on site client liaison, communicating with other Ensafe team members, problem solving on site and ensuring the jobs are finished to the client’s satisfaction in accordance with          Ensafe proposals, quality, and policy and cost requirements.
  • · Complete all paperwork correctly and in a timely manner and completing all QC requirements, report signing, training records in the same timely manner.

Your Skills:

  • · Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, strong judgement and decision making skills, excellent time management skill and ability to innovate and problem solve.

Your Key Duties:

  • Comply with all quality and technical procedures whilst undertaking the analytical elements of PM works. You will also be expected to coach, train and on site manage less experienced staff if required
  • Carry out sampling of airborne dust for the determination of levels of respirable fibres (Air monitoring) in accordance with current health and safety executive guidance HSG248, ‘Analysts Guide’.
  • Assist as required with the four stages of site reoccupation following removal or remedial work on asbestos containing materials and to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with current health and safety executive guidance HSG248, ‘Analysts Guide’.

Requires BOHS P403 & P404 (Or Equivalent)

Asbestos Laboratory - Bulk Analyst

Job Purpose: The primary function is to ensure that all bulks are analysed to meet agreed KPI's and SLAs, with all record keeping associated with this function ensuring the company delivers services effectively profitably and in full accordance with Ensafe Consultants policies, procedures and quality systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analysis of bulks with all record keeping associated with this function and in full compliance with quality control requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining validation, testing and calibration schedules for the laboratory tests and key pieces of equipment.
  • To support the administrative function of the Laboratory under the supervision of the Project & Compliance Manager ensuring all records are maintained and updated as required. This will include, spread sheets, word documents, certificates and purchase orders as required.
  • Communication with consultants, operations and reporting to ensure delivery of service to clients.

Requires BOHS P401 Qualification

Salary: £18,000.00 - £20,000 per annum, dependent on experience
